Welcome to IAR Education Centre! Protecting your privacy matters to us, so this privacy policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.
Information we collect
Personal data: for example, your name, email, phone number, and address, collected when you register, sign in via OTP or Google, or fill out the admission form.
Device information: this includes your IP address, device model, and Firebase UID, used for analytics, app performance, and authentication.
Files & photos: specifically, any uploaded documents, photos, or books downloaded from the app.
How we use your information
We use your information to enable app functionality, including OTP login, Google Sign-In, admission form processing, and book downloads.
We also use it to improve app performance and monitor usage through analytics.
Sometimes, we send important notifications, confirmations, or account-related communications.
Finally, we use your data to ensure account security, prevent fraud, and comply with regulations.
Third-party services
We use Google Firebase for authentication, database storage, and analytics. As a result, Firebase may collect device-related data to monitor app performance you can read more on the Google Firebase Privacy and Security page. However, we do not share your personal data with third parties for marketing.
Account & data deletion
You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time.
How to request deletion
- Email us at iareducationtrust@gmail.com
- Include your username or user ID, and the email or phone number linked to your account
- Request permanent deletion of your account and all associated data
After deletion: we permanently delete personal data, including registration details, quiz progress, uploaded documents, and other stored data. However, we may retain non-identifiable aggregated data for analytics purposes.
Security
We transmit all personal and account-related data over secure HTTPS connections. That said, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, even though we take strong measures to protect your data.
Your choices
You can request account or data deletion at any time using the steps in Section 5.
In addition, you can disable optional permissions in your device settings.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this privacy policy occasionally. When we do, the latest version will always be available within the app and on our website.
